Bountiful Bowls, November 9, 2012 Local artists create centerpieces, serving dishes, yunomis (ceramic cup), ramekins, bread bowls, and more. Cuisine Culture artists collaborate with the Rabbit Room and Mill Art Gallery to design the tableware especially for the local gourmet food that will be served (vegetarian option available). Each guest will take home their choice bowl (included in ticket price) with the option to upgrade the ticket to include a yunomi and side plate. The event will offered 2 seatings, the first at 6:00 p.m. and the second seating at 8:30 p.m. The Bountiful Bowls meal was be accompanied by live music by Scott Topel! Guests had the opportunity to purchase unique pottery and artwork in Talulah’s Fancy gift shop and right off the dining table!
Stew in the Studio, November 11, 2011 hosted by Coach Street Clay Studio and Gallery, 39 Coach Street, Canandaigua. A casual dining experience in the cozy atmosphere of Coach Street Clay Studio & Gallery. A choice of 4 locally sourced stews: White Bean & Roasted Squash Soup and Bloomfield Buffalo Stew made by Roots Cafe in Naples and Lamb Guisado made by Rio Tomatlan in Canandaigua. Sides included bread by Rise and Shine Bakery and chocolates by Sweet Expressions in Canandaigua. The ticket to the event included a handmade bowl by Cuisine Culture co-founders Kala Stein + Kate Money.
Dinner in the Vineyard, August 27, 2011. Hosted by Inspire Moore Winery with food by Roots Cafe in Naples. This was Cusine Culture’s innagural and premier event. This evening event included dinner music, over 600 handmade pots by 6 local potters, a five course wine pairing and an after dinner dance and pottery market.
